The Great Duck Race 2012

Kick Start Fakenham is encouraging the carnival spirit ahead of the upcoming 2012 Fakenham Fair by organising some fun before the Fair itself: The Great Duck Race is at 2pm on Sunday 19th August (this Sunday), starting at Goggs’ Mill near the Fakenham Garden Centre.

Hundreds of numbered plastic ducks will be floated down the Wensum and you can buy an entry in the race for just £1 from Sweets n Things in Oak Street or on the day.

Last year’s Duck Race proved to be a very popular and well-attended event. Sunday’s race is supported once again by Fakenham Ospreys Canoe Club and The Lions.
