Medieval Music Concert in Fakenham

May 02, 2012 by

Medieval music comes to Fakenham at 5pm this Sunday afternoon – 6th May – at the Methodist Church in Oak Street. ‘In the Springtime of the Year’ features a medley of songs and dances performed by Blondel, a newly-formed group of musicians.

The group, who met during their studies at The Guildhall School of Music, have already played several London dates and promise to bring the venue to life with the rousing sound of their medieval wind instruments, including soprano, alto and tenor shawms, bass curtal, bagpipes and recorders.

Tickets cost £7.50 (£3.00 for under 16′s) and are available from Sweets ‘n’ Things in Oak Street or from Dawn on 01328 856582
