Where are you from?
How long have you been at Fakenham Market?
About 4 years.
What are your opening times here?
8am – to around 1pm or 2pm. Our stall is very weather dependent, so we are not here in rain or high winds.
What other markets do you attend?
Bury St Edmunds Wednesday and Saturday markets.
What led you to running this stall?
We both used to drive lorries….and then started selling clothes and bags. Louise has a good eye for attractive styles and sometimes travels abroad to Italy to source the clothing for sale here.
What do you like about coming to Fakenham Market?
I love the people – they are so friendly and the other traders are helpful. It’s a pleasure to come here and we have lots of regular customers.
What do you sell?
French and Italian ladies clothes mostly in blues, white, grey and mocha. Fabrics are mainly cotton and linen in summer and more of a mix in winter. Prices start with scarves at £6 each and all items are very reasonable for the quality.
