Tim and Liza run Just Our Stall in the Upper Market, close to Benbows shop.
How long have you been at Fakenham Market?
About exactly one year!
What are your opening times here?
7am – 2pm approx.
What other markets do you attend?
Bury St Edmunds (Saturday & Wednesday) and Cambridge Market on Sundays. We also have a website and are planning to open a shop in Bury St Edmunds.
What led you to running this stall?
Tim was a teacher and Liza a home school liaison officer, and we needed a change. We started off selling Mexican hammocks on Farmers Markets and then gradually moved onto other things.
What do you like about coming to Fakenham Market?
We do love it. It’s a lovely atmosphere – very friendly with great people.
What do you sell ?
Sheepskins (from Sawston Tannery), cowhides, reindeer hides, also Icelandic, Tibetan and Swedish sheepskins which we have travelled abroad to source. Baskets of all shapes and sizes, many of them designed in Norfolk but made as far afield as Java, Sumatra and Morocco.
