As well as serving regular customers over many years Bill has been pleased to see Sewing Bee on TV has brought a lot of younger customers who have now got into sewing.

Weybourne.

How long have you been at Fakenham Market?
36 years.

What are your opening times here?
7.30am – 2.30pm, sometimes earlier finishing in bad weather, but I aim to be here whatever the weather!

What other markets do you attend?
Sheringham (Wednesday and Saturday) and Aylsham (Friday)

What led you to running this stall?
It was originally my wife’s business. I was in the motor trade and became disenamoured of that, so I took this stall over. My wife runs the shop in Holt called Something Special.

What do you like about coming to Fakenham Market?
I just like the atmosphere, it’s just a lovely place with a good country market feel. It’s my favourite market.

What do you sell ?
A full range of haberdashery : including buttons, cotton reels, ribbons, zips, trimmings, also craft supplies, knitting wool and fabric.
