FADLOS 45th Anniversary Double
Founder member Avril Temple started her 45 year relationship with Fadlos with the very first production ‘Free As Air ‘ back in April 1967 at the then Fakenham Secondary Modern School and has been involved in virtually every show be it Opera, musicals, pantos or plays since those far-off days. Not only has Avril performed on stage but has also been a loyal and respected committee member and treasurer for a very long time!
During her admirable membership of Fadlos she has made many life-long friends and has seen many younger cast members grow up marry and have children who have also then performed on stage with her!
In ‘THE SOUND OF MUSIC ‘ you can hear and see Avril singing her best Latin chants as one of the nuns.
In complete contrast to Avril’s longevity Fadlos also have much pleasure in introducing several new faces ! Five of the two delightful teams of Von Trapp children, Hanna Brown, Niamh Guymer, Olivia Cunningham, Adam Rivers and Grace Reynolds are all, in fact making their Fadlos stage début
With such memorable classics as “Climb Every Mountain”, “Sixteen Going on Seventeen”, “How do you solve a problem like Maria”, “Edelweiss” and of course the title song this may well turn out to be one of your “Favourite Things”
The show runs at Fakenham Community Centre from Tuesday May 15th to Saturday May 19th at 7.30pm nightly with a 2.30pm Saturday matinee. The Box Office is open from April 19th 10 am till 5pm Monday to Saturday at Sweets ‘N’ Things, Oak Street, Fakenham. Telephone 01328 855172
FADLOS is affiliated to NODA
