Diego’s Olympic visit to First Focus

Jun 25, 2012 by

One of Fakenham’s Olympic torch bearers will be on the guest list at First Focus in Cattlemarket Street on 5th July. Local community hero Mujibur Rahman (known locally as ‘Diego’) who owns Fakenham Tandoori, will be on site for the group’s ‘Lazy Olympics’ themed activities on 5th July.

Diego’s local sporting credentials are undeniable, as he is a past sponsor of local football and has recently set up a community Sunday football team, providing kit and equipment. You can give him a cheer when you see him in torch-carrying mode in Fakenham town centre at around 3.15pm on July 4th.

Thursday 5th’s event  will see First Focus hosting games such as Darts, Draughts, Dominos and a Quiz with a ‘Play-off’ for prizes. Lazy Olympics runs from 10am-3pm and Diego’s visit starts at 11.30.
