Fakenham Parish Church Saturday 10th December 10am to 2pm
Come along to Fakenham Parish Church for Fakenham Makers Bumper Christmas Market. Live Christmas music from Dawn Wakefield and friends and Santa will be raising money for Barnardo’s.
Fakenham Makers Market started in March 2015 in the beautiful and historic setting of Fakenham’s 14th century Parish Church in the heart of North Norfolk. It is entirely devoted to arts and crafts handmade by the stallholders and entry is free.
The market runs once a month throughout the year and dates have been specifically chosen to coincide as much as possible with Fakenham Farmers Market.
There are refreshments served at each market with all proceeds going to Fakenham Parish Church. Fakenham Makers Market supports Fakenham Barnardo’s Helpers Group who have a regular free stall at each market.
Fadlos present their award winning Pantomime with the traditional tale of Peter Pan. The magical childhood story we all love has been weaved with some Fadlos style to promise a night of family fun, brilliant songs, toe tapping routines and breath taking costumes! This year we welcome some of the Fadlos Kidz graduates on stage, Thomas Bailey leaps into the role of Peter and Olivia Cunningham last seen as the young Cosette in Les Miserables is excited to become the lovable fairy Tinkerbell.

Fakenham now has a second Tourist Information point, this one open all year round. A dedicated hub for all things Fakenham has been created in the new Sweets ‘n’ Things premises in the Market Place (next to Nationwide). A wealth of information booklets are available as well as booking forms for many local community events.
The new TIC is a joint project by Sweets N Things’ proprietor Lisa Mallett, Active Fakenham’s Richard Crook and with support from Fakenham Area Partnership which organises the existing information pont at Fakenham Library. Volunteers will manage the area, with assistance from shop staff. New signage incorporating an attractive logo will be incorporated at the premises.
In association with the launch of the new information hub, the Fakenham.info website has been redesigned to reflect the new logo and signage. Future ‘Fakenham.info’ Town Guides, produced by Fabcom, will also take on the new look to present a consistent image for the town’s information.
